Personal Information
  • You don't have to register with URLCutter to get basic service of cutting long urls. If you want to manage short urls created by you and use other advanced features, you have to sign-up with URLCutter. During the registration process we collect minimal information as enlisted below:
    • Email address
    • First name
    • Last name
  • We donot collect any information from your computer or track your browsing habits, when you use a short url created with URLCutter.
  • All the information you provide to us, during the registration process remains strictly confidential and will not be leased, shared, sold or revealed to anyone under any circumstances.
  • We donot store your email address you provide when contacting us or sending the short url to your friend, unless you have registered with us.
Cookies
  • URLCutter uses cookies to keep a track of your session. The cookie does not contain any personally identifiable information. By default a temporary cookie is created when you login to your account at URLCutter and is removed when you logout or close your browser. If you have checked "Log me in everytime from this computer" on the login form, a persistent cookie is generated and will remain on the computer you used for signing into your account until you remove it or logout from your account.
  • If you are using a public computer (i.e. it is also used by any one else), we recommend not to check the checkbox since it may allow others to use, view or alter your information you provided to us.
Short urls
  • The short urls created with URLCutter are public and can be used by anyone to get to the target long url. However, only a registered user who created the url can change the target of a given short url and view its statistics.
  • We reserve the right to block any short url, if get complaints regarding its misuse without consulting the person who created that short url.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, it will be available on this page. We recommend you to check this page frequently, to see if there are any changes made to our privacy policy.
